The book is about relationships, their ups, and their downs, written with a generous touch of humor, by a man who is attempting to discover himself through his relationships with women. Meetings with Remarkable Women, portrays the life of a young boy growing up in a privileged Persian society, in search of answers on religion, God, and spirituality. Described in a light and humoristic style, he examines his struggles to free himself from the bondages of conditioning, social demands, and tradition. The most pertinent of the influences in his search seem to have been catalyzed by his relationships with women. In a graphic and poetic tone, he describes the meetings with these women and the impact that they have had on the various stages of his psychological and spiritual evolution. Another milestone was to be his meeting with Rajneesh (Osho) in India, which represented a crucial point for him at the time, as was the decision, a few years later, to leave the commune and affirm his independence. The writing of this biography was actually prompted by the diagnosis of cancer in 2007 and the imminence of death. The renderings of his process, on a physical, psychological, and especially spiritual level during the different stages of therapy are valuable reflections on how to deal with suffering, disease, and death. Meetings with Remarkable Women, is about love, and about how to allow the heart rather than the mind to be the guide on the spiritual path.
