6 Book Set: Canada in the Great World War, An Authentic Account of the Military History of Canada from the earliest days to the close of the War of the Nations. The six volume set was written by various authorities and published between 1918 -1921 by United Publishers of Canada Limited in Toronto, ON, Canada. There are no ISBNs. The set is a Memorial Edition. Each volume is about 400 pages in length and measures about 5.9 inches wide, 8.8 inches long and 2.1 inches thick.  The volume titles are as follows: Volume I- 1608-1914 Military History of Canada, Volume II - Days of Preparation, Volume II- Guarding the Channel Ports, Volume IV -The Turn of the Tide, Volume V - The Triumph of the Allies and Volume VI - Special Services Heroic Deeds, Etc.  These books collectively provide a detailed history of the Canadian military from 1608 to 1914 (in Vol. I) and details its participation in World War I (Volumes II-VI). The text of each volume is accompanied by numerous black and white illustrations, maps and plans.
