The short history of Ajax must be unique in Canada, and perhaps in the world. From farm land to a munitions plant named after a battleship, to a University campus, to a beautiful, fully-planned industrial town of over 13,000 population, all this was accomplished in a short 30 years.
This pictorial record is offered as a reminder to older residents of the changes they helped to make, and to newer residents as an insight into the story of the place called Ajax.
