In 1666 was published the first edition of the first medical work of Sydenham entirely written in Latin and consisted of four sections: continued fevers; the symptoms of continued fevers; intermittent fevers; and smallpox. It was entitled Methodus Curandi Febres, Propriis Observationibus Superstructa.
