This unconventional new series is the perfect antidote to those ?oh so sweet' fairy stories.
Despite what humans think, real fairies don't live in toadstools and they don't
know instantly how to cast magical spells. In fact, not all fairies even like being
fairies! Elly is the perfect example. She would trade in her girly fairy uniform (an
itchy tutu and pretty slippers) for the freedom of jeans and skateboarding at a
cool human school any day.
Elly makes sure her disdain of Fairydom and The Mossy Blossom Academy for
Young Fairies is very clear. She does horribly in her ?spelling? lessons, forgets to
charge her wand and has already been expelled from two other fairy academies!
If her rebellious, non-fairy behaviour doesn't
change, Elly will be (gasp!) a fairy school
drop-out!
But perhaps this is exactly Elly's plan.
