North Bay, from frontier town to Gateway of the North 1880's to 1940's
Since 1973 the North Bay Area Museum has been the local voice of heritage preservation and education. Operating in several different locations over the years, the museum has recently settled into its home in the heart of downtown North Bay, Ontario, where is currently offers a variety of activities, programs and exhibits. With a growing artifact and archival collection, the museum has grown to become the central focus of heritage activities and an important fixutre in the community.
