Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men are the most courageous and misunderstood outlaws in the history of literature. Young Robin, the best archer in all the land, is provoked into committing a crime against the all-powerful Sheriff of Nottingham. Forced into hiding in Sherwood Forest, Robin is soon joined by a group of colorful characters who flee to the forest to escape wrong and oppression.
